Young Miner Student Congress

“STUDENT ASSEMBLY 2025”, organized by TMMOB Chamber of Mining Engineers together with mining engineering students organized as Young Miners, was held on 22-23 February 2025 at the Teoman Öztürk Meeting Hall of Civil Engineers. On the first day of the assembly; after the opening speeches; “TMMOB and Young Miner Organization”, “Education and Secularism”, “Environmental Processes in Mining”, “Technology, Economy and Science in Mining” sessions were held. On the second day, there were sessions titled “Education and Internship” and “What Do Young People Want?”.

In the “TMMOB and Young Miners' Organization” session; Mr. Dersim GÜL from the TMMOB Organization, Mr. Asım KUTLUATA from the Chamber of Mining Engineers Organization and Ms. fatma ARPA from the Young Miners' Organization spoke. The speakers of the “Education and Secularism” session were Prof. Dr. Erhan NALÇACI and Mustafa DEMİR. “Environmental Processes in Mining” speech was given by Mr. Mehmet Oğuz GÜNER, a member of our Association. In the “Technology, Economy and Science in Mining” session, Mr. Ubeydullah MUTLU shared his views.

In the second day's sessions; Mr. Nadir AVŞAROĞLU and Ms. İrem Sultan KARTAL spoke about education in the “Education and Internship” session. Mr. Sadık KAYA, a student member of our association, presented the results of his survey on internship.
