“Recent Developments in CRIRSCO and UMREK” Presentation

As part of the training series “In the Footsteps of Nature, in the Light of Science: Academic Perspectives in Mining,” a presentation focusing on key international and national standards in the mining sector will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Atiye Tuğrul and Tuğba Özcan.

The training will provide a detailed examination of the latest developments within CRIRSCO (Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards)—the international umbrella organization that sets reporting standards for mineral resources and reserves—as well as UMREK (National Mineral Resources and Reserves Reporting Committee), the corresponding structure in Türkiye.

Open to all interested professionals and academics, the training will be held online on Thursday, 5 December 2025, at 20:00.
