Visit to the Director General of Labor

It was decided to carry out joint work between our Association and the Women in the Mining Industry Association (WIM) on lifting the ban on women working underground. The issue is of great importance in terms of gender equality, increasing women's employment and supplying the personnel needed by the mining industry. In this context, WIM member Ms. Zehra DEVECİ ARAL and our Chairman of the Board of Directors visited Mr. Dr. Mehmet BAŞ, Director General of Labor at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on 9 December 2024 and exchanged views on the issue.
