6th Turkey Historical Mines Conference will be held on 22–24 September 2026 in Tavşanlı, Kütahya.

The aim of the Historical Mines Conferences is to bring together academics, researchers, mining professionals, and students working in fields such as the history of mining, ore processing and beneficiation in the geography of Turkey—from prehistoric times through the Republican era—as well as archaeology, archaeometry, and the economic and social history of mining. The conference seeks to enhance the sharing of knowledge and experience, expand the body of knowledge on mining history, and provide a platform for the up-to-date discussion of new field findings, archaeological discoveries, archaeometric studies, and historical interpretations.
